Turn left and you will quickly reach St. Peter’s and the Vatican. Turn right and you will be in front of Palazzo Farnese, the Piazza Farnese, and then Campo de’ Fiori, Piazza Navona, the Pantheon.

Just to the right of the front entrance is the Tiber River. Cross the Mazzini bridge and you will be in colorful Trastevere, with its ancient and monumental buildinings.

Winding through small piazzas and narrow streets, it preserves the true character of a working-class neighbourhood. It is an ideal destination not only for culture, but also for an evening stroll, to find a typical trattoria or just to drink a glass of wine or beer in good company.
